

I then completely formatted the drive, repeated the DSM reinstall, rebooted and the web login was successful. This allows me to reinstall DSM, but on reboot following the reinstall it still won't let me log in. From the manual the status LED should become ORANGE Flashing, instead it flashes green. I also attempted the reset using the reset button, press for 5 seconds until the BIP for 2 times. At the first boot after inserting new RAM, NAS allowed access to DSM for a few seconds after which it was no longer possible. Upon restart, it is no longer possible to connect in any way, either via browser or via ssh. The problem ONLY arises after I reboot the NAS for whatever reason. I thought the problem was generated by RAM, as already discussed in the comments, but I have to change my mind.
